What Could Happen in 2024?

With the new year fast approaching,

what might 2024 hold? While nothing is certain, we hold fast to God’s promise—

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families.” —Psalm 68:5–6

This past year, God used you to help vulnerable children and families feel seen, known, and loved.

Over 10,418 children have now been supported since 2002 with adoption and post-adoption financial assistance because of your generosity.
Over 10,000 children in countries around the world are being served with Gospel-centered care, education, and discipleship.

And now 2024 is almost here.

What incredible things could God do this year for the most vulnerable populations? Above all, we know He’s able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

And we know this, too: Every orphaned and vulnerable child deserves to be seen, known, and loved.

Together in 2024 we can—

**Help more families adopt.**

The largest hurdle potential adoptive families face is funding. But we believe money should never be the reason a child doesn’t have a family.

Our prayer is that more families will step out in faith and pursue adoption when they realize that a network of adoption supporters—like you—are partnering with them financially.

**Provide more children with holistic, Gospel-centered care.**

Over 150 million children across the world are orphaned. And each day, more children lose their parents to war, disease, and the difficulties that come with living in poverty.

No one is more vulnerable than a child without a safe and stable family. So every child we serve receives food, clothing, medical care, and shelter; is given a quality education; experiences continued love and support as they transition into adulthood; and above all, is taught the Gospel and how to live as a follower of Jesus Christ.

**Create more jobs, helping preserve more families.**

In the communities we serve, unemployment reaches as high as 80%. Education only goes so far when job opportunities are scarce. So by fueling sustainable business development and equipping the young adults we serve with practical, employable skills, they can support themselves after graduation.

Additionally, job creation provides employment opportunities for parents and caregivers, keeping families together and preventing children from becoming orphaned in the first place.
