Look What Families Received in Ethiopia!
Thank you for loving children and families in Ethiopia through child sponsorships, giving, and praying. We’re excited to show you what God is doing through you in Ethiopia—
God continues to provide!
With your help, we recently distributed food to over 300 families in our community.
Each family received 50kg (110 pounds) of wheat flour, 5L of quality cooking oil, and 5L of detergent. This food will go a long way in meeting critical needs here in Ziway.

In addition to providing food for our students and their family members, we were also able to identify 40 people in our surrounding community who live by themselves and have additional challenges at this time due to health or age, and we took them food as well.
One of these individuals is a retired driver named Ato. Unfortunately, two years ago he had to stop working after becoming paralyzed, and since that time, he has been confined to his bed. We were able to take him some much-needed food and supplies.
Other families and individuals we helped include those who often beg for their food on the streets. Right now especially there is no way to get food because people who can give aren’t out on the streets, and the police send everyone home.

Finally, every one of these bags of food gave us the chance to share the Gospel with the family or individual who received it. We’re praying God blesses these conversations and the effort that is being made to connect with people who need Him.
God has graciously given to us so that we can give to others.
