See Gospel Transformation in Thailand and Cambodia!
Thank you for loving and supporting our kids through child sponsorships, giving, and praying. Enjoy this update from our teammate, Jason Glass.
A Few Highlights
Our team has grown! Words cannot express how excited we are to welcome Lisa Deprey to our full-time mission team. Lisa has extensive teaching experience, including the past 4 years in Bangkok, and she just completed a doctorate of education in transformational leadership. Most importantly, though, Lisa loves the Lord, loves others, and is eager to use her gifts to serve the people of Thailand and Cambodia.
Here at Lifesong, we are always looking for staff to serve at various locations around the world. If you or someone you know has a heart for orphan care and missions, take a look at these open positions.
In Thailand, we are thankful for our dedicated team of volunteers, including coach John Lee who has taken a leadership role this year in our soccer program. Thanks to John, our kids are becoming stronger leaders. In this year’s Kicks for Hope tournament—a 3v3 soccer tournament to benefit the school and ministry—two of our teams medaled! We are looking to expand the potential for Kicks for Hope and seeking partners to make this happen.

The Gospel in Cambodia
Pastor Somnang, our partner in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, served as lead coordinator for last month’s Love Phnom Penh festival—an opportunity to bring the Gospel to Cambodia. Over 20,000 people attended this breakthrough event. Pastor Somnang grew up in a Buddhist family in Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh. In 1995, around age 15, he became the first in his family to trust Christ, and he now serves as a pastor. He continues to be deeply impactful in the lives of our kids and staff.
Pray the Lord will continue to open doors for the Gospel to go forth in Cambodia!
We are thankful for our local partner, Vatanak. He has helped make it possible for us to provide housing in Cambodia for our recent orphan graduates. Please pray for Sam, Sun, Chantrea, Sarik, and Vatanak as they all help each other transition and seek the Lord’s direction in their new phase of life.
Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly more than all you can ask or imagine this new year. And may we all do our part to reach orphans and children in need.
