Take a Trip to Camp in 10 Pictures!

Attending a Christian camp can be a wonderful, life-changing experience.

Each summer—with the prayer and support of people like you—our team in Ukraine hosts multiple camp programs for our students to learn about God and grow in their walk with him.

Through fun, age-appropriate activities, the children build connections with each other and with their teachers and Lifesong staff, and wonderful memories are made.

Here are some recent photos from our team–

VBS-Lego Camp was a new and exciting experience this summer for our kids as well as our team. In addition to Bible studies and discipleship opportunities, the kids spent time learning to play chess and engineer structures using Legos. It was challenging, and the students were proud of their success!.
Many of our camp mentors are orphan graduates—meaning they are uniquely qualified to encourage the students because they understand exactly where they are coming from and what they are facing on a daily basis.
The core of all of our programs is God and His Word! This summer we have seen God’s Word in action through every camp, and we give Him praise.
At each of our camps this summer, the students have enjoyed fun, age-appropriate activities and all types of sports.
The students have been able to build friendships with other kids they might never have met. And because of shared experiences and similar life stories, they bond and build memories that last a lifetime..
Through daily, practical study of the Bible, our students learn that Jesus loves them and wants good things for their lives.
All camp workers are Lifesong staff as well as church member volunteers. This fosters connection and creates mentoring opportunities with the students as they grow and transition into adulthood.

“Being with the kids at camp is always a special time, but when kids get right with God? It’s a double blessing and makes it worth it for everyone who is working so hard to make camp possible.”
— Bogdan Mazur, Lifesong Ukraine team leader

Through various games and creative activities–including horseback riding and paddle boating–the students are able to talk to mentors and share their heart..
This summer, we have seen God work in the lives of our campers. We thank God for people like you who partner with us to serve children in need.
