Let’s Celebrate Zambia!

Your support for orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia is changing lives!

Here’s some recent news from our team–

We’re celebrating a graduation!

Last month, Lifesong School celebrated its second graduation. 10 students graduated from Lifesong School in Garneton, including 6 girls, which is nearly unheard of in Zambia. As a national average, only 8% of students who start secondary school end up graduating—many girls end up getting married, pregnant, or involved in prostitution.

With your prayer and support, these students continue to work hard and reach their goals. Their future is as bright as the promises of God.

We’re celebrating Grade 9 exam results!

The 9th grade students and teachers at Lifesong School learned last month that they received an incredible 100% passing rate for the government exams. Our students continue to achieve higher test scores than most of the other schools in the region. This is the direct result of prayer, hard work, mentoring, sacrifice, care, and God’s goodness. The staff and students are working hard, and it shows!

Lifesong Secondary School is now listed in the top 20 schools in the Copperbelt Province, based on our Grade 9 scores. This is an incredible honor and a testimony to your support and the grace of God.

We’re celebrating last year’s graduates!

Our 2017 Lifesong School graduates recently completed a new gap year program. They received training in biblically based discipleship and missionary training through Operation Mobilization (OM) here in Zambia. They are now ready for the next phase of their life.

It has been wonderful to see how God has used the 2018 gap year program for these students to draw nearer to Him. What a great way to launch them forward in an intentional and healthy way!

God has big plans for these young adults, and we couldn’t be more excited for them! 3 of our graduates are headed to Lifesong Vocational School, and 5 of them are headed to University.

Will you pray with us that this year will be one where many students will meet Jesus and have their lives changed forever?

Thank you for being part of their story.
