How a Matching Grant Was God’s Faithfulness to Our Family
When we decided to grow our family through adoption,
we knew we wanted to pursue an adoption from Asia. However, as we started looking into different programs, the adoption fees seemed beyond our ability.
We ultimately came to the decision to spend our entire savings and trust that God would provide the rest. it was a huge act of faith for our family because we are a single-income family, and we have always been careful with our money.

In addition to Lifesong’s financial assistance, we have also been able to participate in Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference virtually the last two years. This training and information has been informative and such a needed reset when we have felt stuck as parents.

God’s provision has been evident throughout our adoption journey.
From the financial assistance we received to our journey across the world without our son, to being quarantined in South Korea for 2 weeks, to traveling home with our daughter 7 weeks later—all during the pandemic.
