5 Verses Every Adopting Family Should Learn
The family who adopts a child (or children) is embarking on a big journey and needs big encouragement.
Thankfully, we have a big God Who has given us His Word, sufficient for every aspect of adoption. Here are 5 verses every adopting family should learn. All 5 of these verses or passages apply to any stage of adoption in which you find yourself–from praying about adopting, to waiting for the referral, to raising the necessary funds, to bringing the child home, and to parenting the child.
God’s Word is sufficient for every need.
1. Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
2. Matthew 11:28

3. Philippians 4:6-7
