Beauty from Brokenness: A Thanksgiving Note from the Team
Without a doubt, the fight for justice and mercy is filled with struggle.
Satan wants nothing more than to see children suffering, families broken, nations blind to the Gospel. And our fallen world easily falls prey to his devices.
But we serve a God whose specialty is bringing hope out of hopelessness—bringing beauty from ashes. In Isaiah 61:3, we learn that Jesus will give—
… a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
This is the God who says He is always with us! By His grace and strength, we’re determined not to let evil win.
With you, we serve 11,522 orphans and vulnerable children in 13 countries worldwide. And we have helped over 8,000 orphans experience Jesus through adoption into loving Christian families.
This Thanksgiving, these children and families all over the world are giving thanks because of your generous gifts.
On behalf of them, thank you for being a faithful and sacrificial partner of Lifesong. Thank you for refusing to believe the orphan crisis is too big to solve. Thank you for clinging to the hope of beauty in the midst of brokenness.
We thank God for you—today and every day, and we wish you God’s richest blessings during this holiday season.
