It was a very eventful recent Christmas season with various programs and big events!
Here is a brief recap of what God is doing in Ukraine through your prayer and support–
Our first Christmas event was a New Life meeting for 40 young women and their 25 children at Prostor base, Loubetin, on December 30. Having grown up in the orphanage herself, New Life founder Natasha, 27, has a special heart for these young women–many of whom are trapped in prostitution, single parenthood, or other challenging life experiences. This ministry is growing, and we have more than 100 young women in this New Life circle.
Our second Christmas event involved two Christmas programs for children, held by the Chernihiv team from January 11-13.
The first Christmas program was held in Seredinka village, where Lifesong Farm site 2 is located. It was a pleasant surprise to see the room of local Social Events Club (leftover from the Soviet era) literally packed with local children and adults. We had a full room of kids and families and one hour of joyful interaction. The elder of the village expressed his thanks and invited us to come back with programs as often as possible! We welcome the opportunity to provide the village with work on the farm and to share Good News with their children.
