Our ministry in Thailand partners with Thai leaders to share the Gospel, disciple, and develop sustainable opportunities for disadvantaged children and families.

Why We Serve in Thailand
Thailand, located in Southeast Asia, is known for its tropical beaches and ultramodern cityscape. Specifically, Bangkok, the country’s capital, is the second most visited tourist destination in the world. In Thailand, the needs of children are great. Children experience malnutrition, lack of access to education, trafficking, child labor, and other forms of exploitation. At least 600,000 migrant children in Thailand live on construction sites, making them even more vulnerable to child labor and abuse. They live a hard life, searching for work and food to provide for themselves and those they love. This lifestyle takes a heavy toll on families who are doing everything possible to stay together.

What We Strive to Provide to Every Child We Serve
Our belief in God and His grace in our lives energizes us for a specific work. With God’s help, every child we serve will be taught the gospel and how to be followers of Christ, not want for food, shelter, medical care, and clothing, receive a quality education to provide a foundation for their future, and have access to continued love and support while transitioning into adult living.
Key Areas of Ministry in Thailand
Education
Because children of migrant workers often do not have access to formal education, we provide opportunities for them to master a range of academic subjects, including reading and writing in both English and Thai, art, math, music, and computer skills. Due to a lack of safe space and parental oversight, we also offer physical education and health and hygiene initiatives. We help students discover and develop life skills such as cooking, gardening, and communication.
Community Outreach
We regularly invite families within migrant communities to dinner, worship services, and Bible teaching. Once a week, a service is held at a local campsite. Bimonthly, all families of the children we serve are invited to go on a 2- to 3-day retreat to the beach, which consists of corporate worship, relationship building, and intentional discipleship/teaching. Sharing the Gospel is the foundational element of our ministry and the catalyst for the social transformation that takes place in other areas. The way to salvation is presented in almost every encounter we have, whether in personal conversations, outreach services, or regular meetings.
