Serving Orphans In

Mexico

Our ministry in Mexico works closely with locals to care for orphans and vulnerable children.

Believing fathlerless children often grow up to create more fatherless children, our team is working to break the orphan cycle by caring for the most vulnerable populations, raising them to be godly, faithful responsible young adults.

Why We Serve in Mexico

Today, over 30,000 children in Mexico live in orphanages throughout the country. But it’s estimated that as many as 400,000 children in Mexico are double-orphans, and 100,000 of these children roam the streets.

Orphaned and vulnerable children in Mexico remain at great risk of being recruited to gangs, human trafficking rings, or child labor.

Poverty also remains a difficult challenge facing the country. Currently, half of the population in Mexico lives below the poverty line, leaving children especially vulnerable to violence in the home or to a lack of education.

What We Strive to Provide to Every Child We Serve

Our belief in God and His grace in our lives energizes us for a specific work. With God’s help, every child we serve will be taught the gospel and how to be followers of Christ, not want for food, shelter, medical care, and clothing, receive a quality education to provide a foundation for their future, and have access to continued love and support while transitioning into adult living.

Key Areas of Ministry in Mexico

Discipleship

The children we serve are given regular opportunities to hear the Gospel and observe the lifestyles of believing adults. Many children come to place their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior and are baptized while in our care.

Education

We work hard to motivate students to study and learn. Children who arrive in our care are often behind in school, so we teach them to read and help them catch up with their peers.

Safe Homes

We work with DIF, the Mexican authority over children, to care for the children they send our way. These children have nowhere else to go. It is our privilege to love and serve them for either a short- or long-term stay.

Because Your Money Should Go Where You Want It To Go

Lifesong administrative costs are already covered, so every penny of your received donation will go to help children in need.

“I cannot thank God and all of you enough for the blessing of being able to grow up at Timothy House. God worked through you to spare me from what would have been a lost life, but now I’m going to college and hope to have a good career and family.”
