Help Provide High School Education in Uganda

The Need

In Uganda, 12 million vulnerable children—including 3 million orphans—wake up each day without access to quality education or the hope of the Gospel. In a community where 70% of the population practices Islam, combined with traditional beliefs, children grow up without knowing the transformative power of Christ’s love.

So since 2007, our ministry partner, Global Hands of Hope, has served hundreds of orphaned and vulnerable children at Suubi Christian School in Bukeka. In addition to a good education, students from Pre-K to 11th grade are provided two daily meals, medical care, and Gospel-centered discipleship. 

Unfortunately, once our students complete 8th grade, they must find a new school or stop their education. Neither of these options builds on the Gospel foundation laid at Suubi Christian School. 

After years of praying and planning, our team would like to build a high school. 

By the grace of God—and with your help—we have the opportunity to provide these young leaders with the tools they need to transition into adulthood with confidence in the Lord and practical skills for a more promising future. 

Together, we hope to build on what is already happening at Suubi Christian School:

• 590 students are receiving Christ-centered education from Pre-K to 11th grade.
• Suubi Christian School has been recognized as the district’s top-performing school for four consecutive years.
• 5 children’s homes provide family-style care for the most vulnerable.
• Lives are being transformed through the power of the Gospel every day.
