Join Us! Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit
You are invited to an exciting online summit.
On Thursday–Friday, September 10–11, thousands of orphan care, foster care, and adoption advocates—like you—will gather online for the 2020 Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) Summit.
If you want to connect with like-minded advocates, this online summit is for you.
The original plan was to meet in person in Dallas, but with the recent uptick in COVID, meeting in person isn’t possible. So rather than travel to Dallas, you have the chance to join with others in your region—either virtually or in-person—with local events across the country and global network events in countries worldwide.
This year’s theme is Small Matters: Nothing will better shape the person we’ll become or the impact we’ll leave behind than the small, oft-repeated choices we make every day.
The Schedule
Thursday, September 10 will include focused interactive intensives for parents, organization leaders, advocates, and more—all virtual.
The purpose of this important day will be to strengthen ministry and families to love vulnerable children well. Dive into one track or pick and choose your sessions. It’s up to you!
Friday, September 11 will include small group gatherings by region (both virtually and in-person) for the live CAFO-wide Small Matters event followed by afternoon deep-dive tracks.
On this day, small groups of people across the country and in global networks will meet (both virtually and in-person) to watch the simulcast followed by afternoon deep-dive tracks.
What You Can Expect
1. You’ll receive encouragement. The foster care/adoption journey can be isolating. This online summit will remind you that you aren’t alone. Every speaker has walked the orphan care, foster care, or adoption journey and has encouragement to give you. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from dozens of great speakers, including:
.
2. You’ll find resources. This online summit will be filled with opportunities and giveaways. Our goal is to equip you beyond our two days of meeting. Each session will be packed with practical suggestions and helpful food for thought.
Additionally—new this year!—Christian Alliance for Orphans will open the Summit Favorites Vault through 2020 so you can access previous years of material at no additional cost.
So no matter how God has called you to care for vulnerable children, this conference is for you.
FIND ENCOURAGEMENT AND CONNECTION.
Together, let’s explore the small choices that can (re)make lives – both our own and those we serve.
