Phiona’s Grateful Heart
Phiona understands the deep pain of being unloved and unwanted.
At just six months old, her parents were no longer together, and she was left in the care of her grandmother in Uganda.
However, when Phiona was invited by our team to attend school, she discovered a place where she could focus on her future.
Phiona’s teachers not only provided a quality education, but made her feel valued and safe.
Surrounded by mentors who believed in her potential, Phiona began to realize she could pursue a brighter future. Inspired by those who have given her Gospel-centered care and support, Phiona dreams of becoming a teacher one day, eager to empower others.
She shares—
“I keep praying for a future where every child has the same opportunities I’ve been given. A future where no one has to feel unloved, unwanted, or forgotten.”
Phiona also has a talent for writing.

In journey of my dreams, you’ve been my guiding light.
Sponsors, directors, teachers, mentors, shining bright.
